eCalendarAiken proudly supports the following charitable organizations.
Thank you ALL for your generous contributions to our community!

Aiken SPCA

Established in 1935, the Aiken SPCA is a non-profit organization operating under IRS Section 501(c)(3), which receives no support from state or federal agencies or from the ASPCA. We depend solely upon local donations to support our efforts to save the lives of homeless dogs and cats in our community. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of numerous Aiken SPCA employees and volunteers, the Aiken SPCA has placed thousands of needy animals into loving homes.

The Hitchcock Woods Foundation

Offering visitors the natural beauty and quiet solitude of a unique southern forest located in the midst of an urban area, The Hitchcock Woods is closely associated with Aiken’s early history as a winter resort and a center of sporting activity. The Hitchcock Foundation was established to protect and maintain the woods for the recreational use and enjoyment by the people of Aiken. It encourages passive recreational use of the woods so as to preserve its natural integrity and tranquility for all who visit.

Women Beyond Cancer

Women Beyond Cancer is a 501c3 corporation offering free retreats for women dealing with any type of cancer. We provide an opportunity for women to get away from it all while dealing with the physical as well as emotional impact of cancer.

Equine Rescue of Aiken

Established by Larkin Steele in 2006, Equine Rescue of Aiken is a world class facility dedicated to care for horses who have suffered abuse, neglect and abandonment. Larkin is dedicated to removing horses from bad situations and to providing a safe haven for them. Once the horses are lovingly rehabilitated, Equine Rescue seeks to find ‘Forever Homes’ for as many of the horses as possible.
